Monthly Mine-Site Volumetrics Program
Recurring UAV surveys and stockpile/pit volumetrics across four mine sites, with auditor-accepted reconciliation.
Where the client started
A mining group’s month-end reconciliation regularly disputed survey volumes against weighbridge records, and its auditors had begun qualifying the discrepancies.
The OutcomeWhere they ended up
Thirty-six consecutive monthly cycles at ±1.2% repeatability. Reconciliation variances fell inside auditor tolerance from the third cycle onward, and the qualification was removed at the next annual audit.
How we delivered
Standardised RTK UAV capture protocol with fixed control networks at all four sites
Consistent surface-generation methodology locked in a documented procedure auditors could review
Monthly stockpile and pit-progression volumetrics with cut/fill against prior epoch
Reconciliation reporting formatted to the group’s finance close timetable
- Monthly volumetric reports per site
- Pit progression models
- Cut/fill epoch comparisons
- Documented methodology pack
- Auditor liaison support
